The Postal Service is committed to providing consistent, high quality service to American service men and women stationed overseas. In partnership with the Department of Defense, the Postal Service uses its international distribution and transportation services to provide service to APOs (Army Post Offices, for Army and Air Force personnel) and FPOs (Fleet Post Offices, for Navy and Marine Corps personnel). Military Mail is an extension of domestic service and includes all mail addressed to or mailed from a military unit, or between two military units overseas.
