Chief Logistics and Infrastructure Officer and Executive Vice President
Ronnie Jarriel was named chief logistics and infrastructure officer and executive vice president in June 2024. He reports to the Postmaster General and chief executive officer.
Jarriel oversees Logistics, Facilities, Fleet Management and the Next Generation Delivery Program, which includes Facilities and Fleet Acquisition, Contracting Portfolios and Vehicle Maintenance.
Before this role, Jarriel held two senior vice president positions: Infrastructure and Operations Support and Fleet Management and Electrification Strategy. In both roles, he was responsible for creating cross-functional coordination across multiple organizations to drive strategies within the Delivering for America plan. He was pivotal in making operational improvements in support of the network redesign and accelerating the acquisition and deployment of the new delivery fleet.
Jarriel is an operations and supply chain management professional with multi-industry experience including aerospace, retail, telecommunications, medical devices and consumer packaged goods. He has a track record of accelerating growth, controlling costs and leading transformational projects. Jarriel is also known for establishing customer and supplier partnerships that produce the most effective and efficient supply management. Jarriel served as a strategic advisor to Postal Service leadership on fleet management and electric vehicle strategy. He also served as a contractor with the Postal Service for over 10 years.
Before joining the Postal Service, Jarriel was the president of Phoenix Direct, a third-party logistics company, and held senior leadership roles at XPO Logistics and New Breed Logistics.
Jarriel has a Master of Science in accounting, a Master of Business Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Liberty University in Virginia. He is also a Certified Integrated Resource Management and Certified Production and Inventory Management professional, and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
